Get involved: Placer CATS (CARA Action Teams) meet the second Wednesday of every month. We are one of fourteen regions in the state in which members hold regular meetings to educate, discuss and plan activities related to senior issues, (i.e. Medicare, Social Security, and housing etc.) set forth as CARA priorities for the year.
Meetings are pot luck and you don't have to be retired to attend; just be interested in senior issues.
California Alliance for Retired Americans (CARA) is a statewide senior advocacy and senior grassroots coalition representing more than 800,000. We are serious in our advocay on behalf of seniors and yet we have fun doing the actions. Come and join us.
