CARCINOID CANCER SUPPORT GROUP In medical school, doctors are taught “When hearing hoof beats, think of horses, not zebras.” Carcinoid is thought of as a “rare” cancer, and therefore may be considered a zebra.
IF YOU DON’T SUSPECT IT, YOU CAN’T DETECT IT!
This new support group aims to provide increased awareness, education and support for those living with, affected by or interested in carcinoid cancer. The meetings are held on the first Saturday of each month from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at:
Kaiser Permanente Medical Center Medical Office Building 3rd Floor, Classroom 1 1600 Eureka Road Roseville, CA 95661
For further information, please contact: Toni at (916) 789-9199 or thussain@wefit2u.com
